Recently addicted into making #indian #biryani rice. Found original recipe through some instagram post and here I am making short ribs briyani rice with my own recipe.
INGREDIENTS ~ FOR THE RIBS: 750 gr short ribs
Half bulb garlic (crushed)
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
4 cardamon pods
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp black peppercorn
1 tbsp himalayan salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Water to slow cooked the ribs
Put all the ingredients on the pot and slow cooked for 2-3 hours until tender
THE RICE:
1 onion (sliced)
1 tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of turmeric powder
2 potatoes
A bowl of shredded cabbage
A bowl of peas
1 cup of basmati rice (rince and wash with water)
2 cups of water / broth used from slow cooked the ribs.
A handful of dry raisin
Served with: raw tomatoes, shredded shallots and coriander leaves if any
